Chris Jacobs.
Started at Metropolitan State University of Denver — biology, ecology, fine art. The plan was medicine. Then graduation happened and I found myself in a hospital, working in histotechnology and anatomic pathology. Fascinating work. Not fulfilling work.
My real engine has always been creativity. I left the lab and followed it — into design, into software, and eventually into healthcare IT, where I found a way to be useful in the medical world without losing myself to it.
Now I sit at the intersection of LIS systems, Epic, and design — building and optimizing laboratory information workflows for clinical labs while keeping one foot firmly in photography, painting, and whatever else demands attention.
Based in Denver, Colorado. Perpetually behind on reading. Never behind on music.
